Open Sales from the workspace

Sales lives under the main navigation → Sales. You need organization access to CRM/Sales modules. On first open, default stages (Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won, Lost) are seeded automatically for your organization.

Create and manage deals

  1. 1

    New deal dialog

Click New deal on the pipeline page. Required: title and value. Optional: customer (search CRM records), owner, expected close date, source, currency, and notes.

  2. 2

    Deal detail page

Open any deal to edit stage, status, value, owner, source, and notes. Quick actions: Mark as won, Mark as lost, Create quote (requires linked customer), Delete deal.

  3. 3

    Add deal sources

In the source field, pick an existing source or add a new one inline (e.g. Inbound, Partner, Event). Sources feed the Revenue insights source chart.

Board view vs list view

  • Board: Kanban columns per stage; drag cards to move deals; column headers show deal count and stage value.
  • List: sort by value, close date, or manual order; filter by owner, customer, stage, status, or source; paginated for large pipelines.
  • Header KPIs: open deals, won/lost counts, win rate, open deal value, and weighted forecast update as you move deals.

Understand weighted forecast

Each pipeline stage has a probability (0–100%). Weighted value for a deal = deal amount × stage probability. Weighted forecast on the pipeline page is the sum of weighted values for all open deals. This is the number to compare against quota—not raw open pipeline value.

Revenue insights dashboard

Navigate to Sales → Revenue insights (analytics). Select period (3/6/12 months) and currency. KPI cards show issued revenue, weighted forecast, won deal value, open quotes, conversion rate, and lost deals.

  1. Click funnel segments → filtered open deals by stage.
  2. Click revenue trend points → issued invoices for that month.
  3. Click owner rows or source segments → deals filtered by owner or source.
  4. Export report (CSV) or Export deals (CSV) from the pipeline or analytics page.

Convert a won deal to a quote

  1. 1

    Link a customer

Quote conversion requires a CRM customer on the deal. Edit the deal and select a customer record before clicking Create quote.

  2. 2

    Create quote

Create quote generates a draft CRM quote from deal value and marks the deal won. Open quote jumps to CRM quotes for line-item editing and issuance.

Permissions and CRM integration

  • Sales shares customer records with CRM → Customers; quotes flow into CRM billing workflows.
  • Organization admins configure who sees Sales via the permission matrix in Settings.
  • Support tickets and projects on the same customer stay visible in CRM—deals add the revenue layer on top.
