Before you begin

  • A work email address you can verify (used for login and notifications).
  • A clear organization name—this appears on invoices, portal, and customer-facing documents.
  • Optional: list of teammates and their intended roles (admin, member, portal-only contact).

Register and create your organization

  1. 1

Open the registration page, enter your email and password, and confirm your account via the verification email.

  2. 2

    Name the organization

On first login you land on the dashboard wizard. Set the organization display name and default locale.

  3. 3

    Explore the dashboard

The dashboard summarizes open work, critical alerts, and recent activity across projects you can access.

Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team. Invite members by email. Assign organization roles and, when needed, restrict project access per member.

Create your first project

  1. Click New project from the projects list or dashboard empty state.
  2. Choose a name, optional description, and default workflow template.
  3. Add project members from your organization directory.
  4. Open the board and create a task, bug, or feature to validate the workflow.

Optional next step: publish on Business Network

When your workspace is ready, claim a public company page on Projectman Business Network so partners can discover your products and services. Start at /network, browse /network/companies, then follow the guide to claim and publish your company profile. Full walkthrough: /docs/business-network-overview and /docs/claim-publish-company-profile.

Optional: enable Proman AI assistant

On Professional and Business plans, Proman helps with org-grounded chat, form drafts, and approval-first proposals across delivery and CRM. Nothing is saved until you approve. Full guide: /docs/proman-ai-assistant. Related article: /blog/workspace-ai-assistant-with-approval.
