Sales pipeline software: weighted forecast and deal boards in one workspace

Stop reconciling spreadsheets with CRM. Track deals on a Kanban-style board, calculate weighted forecast from stage probability, and convert wins to quotes—next to delivery and support.

Why most sales pipelines fail before the quarter ends

Spreadsheets hide stage drift. Standalone CRMs never see delivery blockers. Finance learns about slippage from invoice gaps—not from weighted pipeline math. A sales pipeline tool only works when deals share the same customer graph as projects, support tickets, and issued revenue.

  • Deals stuck in "Proposal" for 60 days inflate raw pipeline value without probability weighting.
  • Win rate and lost-deal reasons stay in sales stand-ups—not in analytics leadership can filter.

Kanban-style deal board: stages, drag-and-drop, list view

Projectman Sales opens with a board view: Lead → Qualified → Proposal → Negotiation → Won/Lost. Drag deals between columns to update stage and probability instantly. Switch to list view for bulk sorting by value, close date, owner, customer, or source.

  1. 1

    Create a deal

Click New deal: title, value, currency, expected close, optional customer link, owner, source, and notes. Deals without a customer can still move through stages until quote conversion requires one.

  2. 2

    Customize stages

Each stage carries a probability percentage used in weighted forecast (e.g. Proposal = 50%). Admins tune stages per organization so forecast math matches your sales methodology.

  3. 3

    Track deal sources

Tag inbound, outbound, referral, or custom sources. Revenue analytics breaks down pipeline and won value by source so marketing and sales align on what actually converts.

Weighted forecast: the number finance and sales can agree on

Raw pipeline value sums every open deal at face value. Weighted forecast multiplies each deal by its stage probability—so a €100k negotiation at 75% contributes €75k to forecast, not €100k. Projectman surfaces weighted forecast on the pipeline header and in Revenue insights alongside issued revenue and won deal value.

  1. Open deal value = sum of all open deals at full amount.
  2. Weighted forecast = Σ (deal value × stage probability).
  3. Win rate = won deals ÷ (won + lost) for the selected period.

Revenue insights: clickable charts from pipeline to invoices

  • Issued revenue trend links to filtered invoices—see what was actually billed, not just promised.
  • Funnel by stage, won vs lost by month, owner leaderboard, and source breakdown—all drill down to filtered deal lists.
  • Export deals or analytics to CSV for board packs without rebuilding pivot tables.

Close the loop: deal → quote → invoice on one customer record

When a deal is ready, Create quote from the deal detail page. Projectman generates a draft quote, marks the deal won, and keeps the link so sales, finance, and delivery trace the same opportunity. No re-keying customer names or amounts into a separate billing tool.

Sales pipeline checklist for go-live

  1. Seed CRM customers and link active accounts to open deals.
  2. Align stage probabilities with your historical win rates by stage.
  3. Define deal sources your team will actually use (keep the list short).
  4. Review Revenue insights weekly; click through to deals stuck >30 days in one stage.
